Supporting Grenfell Survivors – IFPA Feature
May 23, 2018 |
Our latest feature is one of true, heart-felt meaning. We have been supporting a network called Completmentary Support Teams UK which was set up to support survivors of Grenfell Tower, and continues to respond to disasters nationwide. This charity provides complementary therapy support for those who have experienced trauma, and this latest feature in IFPA’s In Essence explains more about the team’s progress.

What a wonderful write up, I have meet some of the team a few times,,They are a fantastic group, they travel some distance and always with love in their hearts and a great big smile….you feel so relaxed in their company..I can talk, but, not about me, not about pain, but, the very first day I meet a few I found my self opening up and talking about things that I have held on to and not told anyone….I left that day feeling I was walking on a cloud, I felt free…What I would say is if you are worried and have never tried these beautiful treatments, go along, just sit in their company, you will feel the love, you will feel the healing, you will leave feeling wonderful and you will come back…and you will get better……On the other hand if you do not need treatment, and you can help in any way, Please do…WHAT A WONDERFUL TEAM…..
Mary, that is so beautiful; thank you for such a lovely response. You are an inspiration to many with your wise words and we are so grateful. x
Lovely article, share share share.
More people need and should know what voluntary support has been given by all these Homeopaths, Healers, Aromatherapists etc etc . And not forgetting the outcome these people have experienced through this devistating time.
Some Therapists have travelled from a-far to help. Many have donated medication and supplies.
Such an act of kindness that restore many peoples faith in humanity.
Thank you Nicole for you post.
Hi Kishan, that’s so kind of you, thank you for reading! Yes, let’s get the message out there so survivors know where to find help. Keep sharing the love and awareness and keep up your beautiful and kind work as a therapist. x
