Beau-tea-ful Rose Tea Stole My Heart

January 14, 2019 |

I was recently gifted a beautiful set of products by a company called Yandra Tea.  I often get offered lots of wellbeing-orientated gifts, and I don’t always accept them unless they resonate as it isn’t fair to just take products for review and not then review them properly, but there was something about this brand that called to me (a bit like the Birch & Wilde supplement brand I recently also reviewed, which was equally exceptionally high quality).  I’m glad it did because I honestly fell in love with Yandra’s products – and so I wanted to share them in case they resonated with you also!

From the initial friendly email, to my delight in opening the box, and in using the products, Yandra has been a lovely experience.  For a start, I adore rose, which helped as they offer the most exquisite rose products.  At a time when I was going through some really tough thinking, and emotional turmoil, I don’t think the universe could have sent me anything better than this brand because the properties of rose are great for the heart and for emotional release – so it was a beautiful reminder that I was exactly where I needed to be.  They don’t just offer rose – they also sent me some Jasmine and Silver Needle, which was just as divine, though I definitely favoured the rose at the time!

A Beautiful and Authentic Story

Yandra has a gorgeous story, too (and I do love brands that are authentic!).  With their passion to create conscious mindfulness of our connection to earth, respecting nature, they grow beautiful, fresh, organic rosebuds on their family farm in Romania, using ‘grandma’s secret recipe’ to made aromatic rose bud tea and syrup.  What a delight!

With exceptionally high attention to detail, their packaging was beautiful, but they also sent me a branded journal – and everyone knows I love a good journal!  So, I wanted to thank them personally with this little post, as receiving their products really was a beautiful experience.

The Product Itself

Now, I’ve covered a lot about the service and the brand story (mainly because it was really special), but I haven’t covered the product itself.  So, whilst I could jump straight to the taste, I won’t because there were more special details!  I went to make the tea, and there were still such beautiful additions – I opened the box and this quote greeted me:

“A woman is like a tea bag – you don’t know how strong she is until you put her in hot water!” ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

Everyone knows I’m a sucker for a quote, so by this time I’m already in bliss!!  But, I popped in a few exquisite rose buds into my new Om & Ah London mug (another favourite brand of mine) – and let them steep for a few minutes.  Of course, as a creative, I also delighted in making many Boomerangs of this process for Instagram, but that’s another story!!

Getting to the main point, though, the tea was just simply beautiful.  The fresh, sweet, floral fragrance of rose was so pure in my mouth, and whilst it was my thinking settling because I enjoyed the tea, I instantly felt calm and soothed.  The best thing about this, is that Yandra claim rose tea to have Vitamins A, B3 and D, saying it relaxes and soothes the mind, body and soul.  It can also apparently help with pain, digestive disorders and relieving menstrual cramps, which I know that rose can do in its essential oil format, too.

Being caffeine-free also makes it a great alternative to add to your tea mix.  One thing I always suggest when thinking about herbal teas is that you can have a nice selection to mix things up. I love matcha, for example, but I tend to rotate my teas and create variety!

One final thing I want to make clear, though, is this: I know it isn’t an ‘outside-in’ world, and that material things don’t matter – and I always share this wisdom that we have all we need already within!  However, that doesn’t mean we can’t play in the human world and enjoy that, receiving physical bliss; so, in that way, whilst we do already have everything we need, it doesn’t hurt to indulge in enjoying a little beautiful tea every now and then!

Give it a go, if you fancy it!  For me it was about following what feels good for my self care – and this ticked all the beau-tea-ful boxes and made me feel very heart-happy.

If you want to see more, their tea is available HERE – AND, as an extra special gift for my lovely readers, they have also offered 30% off with the following code (and UK buyers also get free shipping!).
